As a vital part of our Med Surg/Telemetry Department, the Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in delivering basic nursing care to non-critical patients. This position involves assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate preferred upon hire.
  2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain throughout employment.
  3. Familiarity with Medical Terminology is essential.
  4. A minimum of six months of prior experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office is preferred.
