Job Summary:

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a registered Radiology Technologist with excellent communication skills to perform diagnostic medical radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures through interpretation.

About the Role:

  • Acquires ordered images, evaluates their technical quality, and sends them to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas, reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions, and performs preventative maintenance on X-ray and other equipment.
  • Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures, transports patients to radiographic rooms, and prepares and maintains rooms.
  • Performs radiographic examinations, prepares written documentation, such as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Requests and orders supplies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Associate's degree preferred.

Compensation: $48.99 per hour.
