Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design and Deployment: Work with clients to design and deploy VMware solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Delivery Model Efficiency: Drive efficiency in our delivery model, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Customer Lifecycle Optimization: Assist in refining and optimizing customer lifecycle and VMware Telco Cloud portfolio.
Requirements:
  • Strong Client-Facing Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Consulting Architect or Solutions Engineer focused on VMware solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in architecting and designing data center automation and network function virtualization private cloud solutions.
  • VMware VCF Infrastructure: Working experience with VMware VCF Infrastructure - vSphere, NSX-T, vCD, Aria, etc.
  • Telecommunications Market: Understanding of the telecommunications market, NFV/SDN context, standards, technology, and use cases.
  • Scripting and Troubleshooting: Hands-on familiarity with scripting using Python and troubleshooting approaches.
  • Cloud Native Application Concepts: Knowledge of cloud native application concepts.
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.
  • Work Schedule: Willing to work at client site 4 days a week.
Preferred Skills:
  • VMware Certification: Holds a VMware certification.
  • Cisco Certification: Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification.
  • Advanced Professional Certification: Holds more than one VMware Advanced Professional certification or TOGAF certified.
  • Cloud Native Technologies: Experience with Kubernetes, Cloud Native technologies.
