About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at AltaPointe Health Systems. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in psychiatric crisis.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with activities of daily living under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Provide ongoing monitoring and interaction with consumers, including de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
- Assess consumer behavior and record information according to policy and standards.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care.
- Meet AltaPointe productivity standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Alabama.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull force up to 25 pounds.
- Strong grasp and ability to ambulate quickly in emergency situations.
