Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Hat Creek Burger Company in McKinney, TX.

As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food products according to our standard operating procedures. Your responsibilities will include prepping, cooking, portioning, and serving food to our dine-in and to-go customers.

You will also be responsible for inventory duties, maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment, and working effectively with our Back-of-House team to provide excellent customer service.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and be committed to delivering outstanding food quality and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food products according to prep/par sheets and standard operating procedures
  • Cook, assemble, and package customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Follow all portion control procedures, record food waste, and maintain proper food temperature and storage
  • Work in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to local and state regulations
  • Unpack and store incoming inventory, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and report any equipment issues
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a kitchen environment with various equipment, including ovens, stoves, and knives
  • Exposure to heat, steam, fire, noise, and potentially slippery surfaces
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds

This is a full-time or part-time position, with a flexible schedule that includes working Monday to Sunday.
