Ward Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ward Clerk to join our team at Terraces at Summitview - a HumanGood community. As a Ward Clerk, you will play a critical role in scheduling caregiving personnel to provide exceptional care to our residents.

• Manage a pool of team members, coordinating and maintaining their schedules, addressing questions, comments, and concerns, and providing them with updated information regarding their clients and care plans.
• Assist with resident care as needed and assist the Director of Nursing in staffing appropriately licensed/certified team members through preparation and maintenance of daily and monthly schedules.
• Identify staffing needs based on recurring schedules and complete reports, documents, and monitor staff absenteeism.
• Prepare and post daily schedules for each shift and track resident admissions, discharges, frequency changes, etc., as it relates to staffing.
• Input data into electronic medical records for billing purposes and manage both incoming and outgoing calls to staff and clients.
• Maintain a call log, documenting notes of conversations regarding client concerns, schedule changes, hospitalizations, etc.
• Ensure supply inventory is adequate for department or community needs and direct vendors for supplies and equipment, services, and repairs.
• Complete monthly audits of expiration dates of central supply and restock supplies, check oxygen tanks, Nebulizers, Concentrators to ensure proper working condition and readiness of use.

• Certified Nursing Assistant License required.
• Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred.
