Cardiac Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider

The Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiac Critical Care is responsible for overseeing critically ill cardiovascular patients who require intensive care services. This role involves close collaboration with Cardiovascular Intensivists and attending physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
The provider will manage patient care from the immediate post-procedure phase through to discharge, ensuring continuity and support throughout the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans that are effective, efficient, and of high quality.
- Identify and address discharge planning needs to provide comprehensive support for patients transitioning out of care.
- Support technical procedures and patient care initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a relevant field and have substantial experience, typically 3-5 years, in a similar role. Required certifications include:
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Active NCCPA Certification (for Physician Assistants)
- Maryland CDS License and DEA License
- Current American Heart Association BLS/ACLS Certifications
- Active AANC or AANP Certification (for Nurse Practitioners)
