At MAPMG, our physicians enjoy a salaried position, free from the pressures associated with alternative payment structures or fee-for-service models. Our members have seamless access to specialists and their medical records, enabling a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to conduct thorough palliative care evaluations and develop care plans.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to equality, cultural sensitivity, and respect in delivering palliative care services to a diverse patient population.
  • Utilize prescriptive authority judiciously in managing complex symptoms, including the responsible use of opiates and controlled substances.
  • Provide palliative care services through various methods, including in-person visits, video consultations, and telephonic support.
  • Engage in extra-clinical activities that promote education, clinical ethics, team development, quality enhancement, and clinical innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish and expand a leading palliative care service line.
Essential Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Care.
  • Possession of or eligibility for medical licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
  • Work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.
