Ortho Rhode Island is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team. As an Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to athletes and patients, working closely with our physicians, therapists, and coaches to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of athletes' injuries or illnesses to provide emergency or continued care and determine the need for referral to physicians.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to promote recovery and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with coaches and physicians to ensure athletes' readiness to play and provide participation clearances as needed.
- Supervise Rehab Aides and provide guidance on clinic maintenance, including supply ordering and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in Ortho RI's community outreach and events, including RIIL activities.
- Associate degree in an accredited Athletic Training program.
- Minimum one year of experience in a clinic setting, preferably with licensure/registration for a physical therapy assistant.
- Current CPR certification.
