CDL A Regional Truck Driver Opportunities

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Class A Regional truck drivers to join our team at American Driver. As a Regional driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight across the country, with a focus on the eastern United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods and materials
  • Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining a safe and efficient driving record
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules
  • Meet or exceed company safety and productivity standards
Requirements
  • 10 months of verifiable Class A OTR or Regional experience in the last 3 years
  • Clean MVR with no DOT Preventable accidents in the last 3 years
  • Absolutely no SAP drivers can never have failed a DOT Drug or Alcohol test
  • No Major moving violations in the last 3 years
  • No termination from previous jobs
  • No DOT Recordable accidents in the last 4 years and cannot have more than one incident in the last 18 months
  • No more than 4 jobs in the last 3 years
  • No DUI in PMV (never in CMV) in the last 7 years and only one in a lifetime
Benefits
  • 100% no-touch dry van with newer model Freightliners and KW T680
  • Average weekly pay of $1500-$1900/WK
  • Mileage pay is $.67-$.71CPM based upon experience and if you have hazmat
  • Great benefits and bonus program for clean inspections
  • Annual earnings $95,000-$98,000

Orientation
  • 3 or 4 days in either Columbus OH, Charlotte NC, or Manchester PA
  • You will be provided a rental car to use during orientation
  • Private Hotel Room including Breakfast & Lunch Provided
