We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in addressing the unique needs of our clients while embodying our core values of respect, community, and integrity.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse will deliver holistic nursing care within our Health Services Department, performing the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient health information through various methods including interviews and observations to inform treatment planning.
  2. Utilize assessment data to establish nursing diagnoses and develop tailored care plans.
  3. Identify and outline expected outcomes for care, ensuring they are personalized to enhance the client's overall health and well-being.
  4. Administer prescribed interventions, including medication-assisted treatment, as directed by the Health Services Director.
  5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services, communicate client progress, manage crises, and contribute to the team's daily operations.
  6. Continuously assess client progress towards established outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving needs and goals.
  7. Stay informed about current best practices and intervention strategies related to substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of client charts in compliance with regulatory standards.
  9. Uphold client dignity and confidentiality, respecting their individual values and lifestyles.
  10. Conduct exit interviews with clients to summarize discharge instructions and planning.
  11. Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Associate's degree in nursing.
  2. Licensure: Must be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  3. Preferred: Experience in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder treatment.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to perform essential functions, including standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds. Vision capabilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time role, typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with potential on-call responsibilities.

Work Environment:

The position is based in a healthcare setting, requiring movement to various locations within the facility and occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
