About the Role

The Operations Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our properties. This role requires a strong leader who can drive business success through effective team management, strategic planning, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve budgeted occupancy levels
  • Ensure property compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Set business priorities, supervise leasing and prospect management, and oversee maintenance performance
  • Collaborate with Facility Management to resolve outstanding maintenance issues and identify proactive solutions
  • Manage operational and maintenance metrics to achieve business agreements
  • Foster a WeCare culture and lead team members to achieve personal and professional growth
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Installation Commands, Housing Partners, and Residents
  • Process financial tasks, including payables and receivables, and support Project Development team as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in property management or hospitality industry
  • Minimum 3 years' of general people management experience
  • Solid leadership skills, including promoting core values, collaborating, developing others, and decision making
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to create and maintain budgets and forecasts
  • Results-driven and detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
