The Operations Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our properties. This role requires a strong leader who can drive business success through effective team management, strategic planning, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve budgeted occupancy levels
- Ensure property compliance with company policies and procedures
- Set business priorities, supervise leasing and prospect management, and oversee maintenance performance
- Collaborate with Facility Management to resolve outstanding maintenance issues and identify proactive solutions
- Manage operational and maintenance metrics to achieve business agreements
- Foster a WeCare culture and lead team members to achieve personal and professional growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Installation Commands, Housing Partners, and Residents
- Process financial tasks, including payables and receivables, and support Project Development team as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in property management or hospitality industry
- Minimum 3 years' of general people management experience
- Solid leadership skills, including promoting core values, collaborating, developing others, and decision making
- Strong financial acumen and ability to create and maintain budgets and forecasts
- Results-driven and detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
