Job Title: Packaging Operator

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team at L'Oréal USA. As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for the total operation of all manual, semiautomatic, and automatic packaging lines, including quality control, material procurement, line set up, and adjustment of product within specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual, semiautomatic, and automatic packaging lines, including powder presses
  • Perform quality control checks and ensure products meet specifications
  • Procure materials and supplies as needed
  • Set up and adjust packaging lines to meet production requirements
  • Perform light preventative maintenance on packaging equipment
  • Train and assist other packaging employees as needed

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a production or processing environment
  • Knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery, and product items
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Must have knowledge of and be capable of working with all products, including current and promotional products
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
  • Must be capable of doing repeated bending, lifting, and standing for long hours
  • Must communicate effectively in the English language (written and verbal)
  • Must be able to work off shifts, including overtime
