Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. As a CNA, you will provide patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital sign monitoring, assistance with activities of daily living, and documentation of patient information.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor vital signs and blood sugars
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
  • Measure and document input/output and weights
  • Assist nurse as needed
  • Answer call lights
  • Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge
  • Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient
  • Distribute drinks and/or snacks
  • Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment
  • Adhere to CCH attendance policy
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and be a graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program I. You must also be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant I and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
