Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class D Route Driver to join our team at Baton Rouge Cargo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of vehicles to complete deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the assigned vehicle to complete deliveries and pickups
  • Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain a valid copy of your Driver's License and DOT Medical Card
  • Deliver product to customers at agreed-upon times and unload product in a safe manner
  • Obtain proof of delivery/pickup from every customer via paper or digital manifest
  • Fuel the vehicle, schedule maintenance, and perform trip inspections
  • Complete required DOT and company-related paperwork
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management
Requirements
  • Class D (minimum) up to a Class A CDL license
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • Clear MVR
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Minimum of two years driving experience
