Our clientele spans major industries, including biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
As a Boiler Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial boiler and HVAC systems up to 1000HP.
- Diagnosing and rectifying issues in commercial boiler systems, including oil-fired and gas-fired boilers, along with their control systems.
- Possessing a robust understanding of combustion settings for both oil and gas boilers.
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on various types and brands of boilers and burners across multiple markets, including healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and manufacturing.
- Managing hydronic, domestic hot water, and steam systems, including high and low-pressure steam systems, DA and feedwater tanks, and pumping systems.
- Executing boiler inspections, cleaning boiler tubes, and checking all safety mechanisms.
- Documenting and recording temperatures, amperage, and voltage on boiler systems.
- Utilizing tablet-based service ticket software for efficient workflow management.
- Being available for overtime and participating in a scheduled on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a journeyman license.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial boiler operations.
- Experience in commercial and industrial gas/oil heat service.
- Background in commercial and/or industrial HVAC replacement.
- Experience in healthcare facilities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with control systems and wiring, including parallel positioning.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional demeanor, ethical conduct, and a collaborative spirit.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
