Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at KPH Healthcare Services, Inc. in Syracuse, NY. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacy staff in the triaging of incoming prescriptions, delivering filled prescriptions to patients, and performing cash register duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions and verify patient information
  • Assess workload, establish prescription pick-up time, and queue prescriptions for processing
  • Deliver prescriptions to patients, obtain signatures, and perform cash register duties
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to State and Federal requirements
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a professional environment
  • Complete mandatory and regulatory training programs
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS degree or higher preferred
  • Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (for Vermont employees)
  • Preferred experience in hospital or retail pharmacy settings
Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, with final offer determined based on relevant skills, experience, and education.
