Responsibilities:
  • Align, level, and anchor cranes and equipment
  • Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoist, and pulling gear
  • Connect pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps
  • Clean and dress machine and surfaces of parts
  • Control movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces
  • Disassemble, maintain, and store rigging equipment
  • Manipulate rigging lines, hoist to move or support materials, steel, and concrete
  • Select gears, cables, and shackles according to load size, facilities, and work schedule
  • Signal or give direction to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure the safety of workers and materials
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting
  • Complete ProLift Specific, Regulatory, and Identified Equipment training through our internal LMS system
  • Complete 3rd party and customer required training to gain on-site access
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • CDL – CLASS A required
  • Clean MVR required
  • General Crane's knowledge
  • Excellent mechanical reasoning skills
  • Good perception of math applications, weights, measurement, and balance
  • Flexibility with your schedule, ability to travel, and work overtime
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Rigging experience required
  • Knowledge of crane hand signals is required
  • Flexibility to travel, which may include weekends and overnight stays
  • OSHA 10-preferred
  • NCCCO Rigger a plus
