We are looking for a qualified State of California Certified Journeyman Electrician to become part of our workforce. The role involves the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring devices, branch circuits, fixtures, lighting controls, and distribution equipment. You will also be responsible for overseeing and mentoring apprentices on-site. If you possess a strong work ethic and take pride in your craftsmanship, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Ensure a tidy and secure work environment
- Utilize blueprints and plans to assess electrical needs and required materials
- Install new electrical systems and conduct repairs on existing ones
- Communicate effectively with supervisors
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and other professionals, including building inspectors
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Prior experience as a Commercial Electrician is essential (residential experience is not applicable)
- Valid Driver's License
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Thorough knowledge of wiring techniques and Electrical Codes
- Professional demeanor and polite personality
