Work Environment: This is a hybrid position, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work, ensuring flexibility in your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the security posture of both in-house and third-party applications.
  • Oversee the assessment pipeline and manage expectations with development teams.
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency of security testing processes.
  • Manage configurations and make informed decisions regarding the use of various security tools, including Static Source Code Analysis and Dynamic Application Security Testing.
  • Develop and maintain security testing standards that align with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in application security or related domains.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in application security and testing.
  • Proficiency in security testing tools such as Veracode, Fortify, Burp Suite, and Qualys.
  • Experience with Jenkins for builds and deployment.
  • Familiarity with public key infrastructure and cloud-based security solutions.
  • Strong programming skills in Java 7, Java 8, and/or PowerShell.
  • Experience in a consulting environment or within a Fortune 500 company is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the telecom or cable industry is advantageous.
