About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team at HearingLife. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals hear better through life-changing hearing health delivered by the best personalized care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, conducting repairs to hearing aids, earmolds and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. You represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life-changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including but not limited conducting hearing tests, coach and educate patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients. Communication is key.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.
