Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychiatric Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide medication management services to clients. Your expertise will enable us to deliver high-quality care that meets the complex needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate referred clients for psychiatric conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Prescribe medications as indicated and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote empowerment and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share knowledge, best practices, and resources that enhance client outcomes.
Requirements:
- Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida.
- Experience: Completion of residency program at a psychiatric facility (preferably board-certified).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in psychiatry.
- Experience working in a behavioral health setting.
