We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Lincoln Electric. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all jobs are welded to the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld components in all positions, adhering to strict quality control measures.
- Utilize advanced welding techniques, including TIG steel weld, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, to meet AWS standards.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Examine work pieces for defects and measure them to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Weld a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, invar, and other alloys.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, or bolt component parts to achieve required configurations and positions for welding.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate and efficient welding processes.
- Document actions and maintain continuity among work shifts by completing production time sheets.
- Achieve organizational goals by accepting ownership for new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Proficient in GMAW and GTAW welding techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this position is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on quality and precision. The employee will be required to work in a manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
