Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at LifeBridge Health, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sonograms in an efficient manner while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. You will analyze sonograms, synthesize sonographic information and medical history, and communicate findings to physicians. You will have a full knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment, software, and computer systems used to maintain patient information and diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality sonograms in an efficient manner
  • Analyze sonograms and synthesize sonographic information and medical history
  • Communicate findings to physicians
  • Have a full knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment, software, and computer systems

Requirements

  • Preferred Associate's Degree
  • Preferred High School Diploma Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
  • Less than 2 years Current overview and knowledge of operations within a hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Department
  • ARDMS - Sonographer
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Tech

Additional Requirements

  • Must be flexible with work assignments
  • Must have good communication skills to orally and visually communicate with patients, staff, and physicians
  • Must be accurate with details and willing to learn
