Women's Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Women's Health Specialist to join our team at Comprehensive Community Health Centers. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive and continuous care to patients in an underserved community clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pelvic examinations, insert IUD/IUC/IUS, and conduct breast cancer screening and problem evaluation.
- Administer Pap smears, HPV screening, STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and provide prenatal care and family planning education.
- Counsel and educate patients on health behaviors, preventative measures, health promotion, self-care skills, and treatment options.
- A Master's degree in nursing or a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution.
- Current certification by one of the recognized organizations, such as the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
- A valid Registered Nurse California license and preferably two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Advanced principles, procedures, methods, and techniques of medical and healthcare.
- Ability to perform general physical examinations, provide responsible medical care within protocols, and respond to emergency situations.
- Possess strong documentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and proficiency in learning new software programs.
