Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel therapist in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory care services to individual patients and their families by assessing, care planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the care given.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop care plans to meet their needs.
  • Implement and document respiratory care interventions, including medication administration and equipment maintenance.
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • 1-2 years minimum acute care experience.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle a multi-task environment.
  • Basic PC skills such as Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment.
