Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care to telemetry patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records, lab results, and medication lists.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and prepared for post-acute care.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- At least 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
