Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Central Louisiana Surgical Hospital is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Endoscopy suite.

Job Summary

The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting the Physician and Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy suite while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This includes preparing the room and equipment, providing support to physicians and nurses during procedures, handling specimens, and sterilizing equipment.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the preparation of the Endoscopy suite, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  2. Provide support to physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling specimens and sterilizing equipment.
  3. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the OR Department Manager.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Two years previous experience as an Endoscopy or Surgical Technician desired.

Physical Demands
