Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Telecommunications Engineer will be responsible for the planning, analysis, design, development, and maintenance of operational support systems utilized by telecommunications firms. This role involves conducting business systems planning, information planning, and analysis to support telecommunications functions, including billing, trouble ticket management, service order processing, and configuration management. The engineer will perform process and data modeling to support planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated methodologies. Additionally, the role includes providing technical direction in software engineering practices and automated support tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in engineering, systems analysis, design, and programming.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in functional and data requirement analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, and program design for billing, trouble ticket management, service order processing, and/or configuration management systems supporting large telecommunications operations.
