Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pharmacy Cashier to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, answer questions, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process sales, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and process transactions.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, with the ability to operate a cash register and other store systems.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: PTCB certification preferred.
