Banner Health is seeking a skilled Home Health Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional, expert care in the comfort of patients' homes. You will enjoy an autonomous practice, focusing on medical intervention within the patient's actual home environment. Our Home Health space allows for the time to create one-on-one relationships with patients and their caregivers, and you will have flexibility over your schedule.
We offer a flexible schedule, 5/8 or 4/10 with weekend rotation every 4-5 weeks. This position will provide 1:1 home care in West Valley with primary areas of coverage in Southwest Phoenix, Laveen, Tolleson, Avondale, Goodyear, South Glendale, Litchfield Park, Buckeye, and Tonopah. Enjoy a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential.
As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will join the Banner Home Health Clinical Team providing exceptional, expert care in your community. You will enjoy working in a sub-assigned geographic territory with a smaller travel distance than other valley agencies. You will enjoy an autonomous but supportive work environment. We offer mileage reimbursement and will provide you a company cell phone and a tablet for documentation in our electronic medical record system (Home Care Home Base).

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in the state of practice, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on the area of practice.
Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training, and education needed to perform the job. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations. Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area. Banner Registry and Travel physician practice positions require a minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician practice or an acute care setting.
