Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer III to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts, with a strong background in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze user requirements, develop system requirements specifications, and lead design and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements and develop system requirements specifications
  • Lead design and development activities for complex systems
  • Guide users in formulating requirements and advising alternative approaches
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
  • Develop technical documentation and system architecture and design documentation
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans

Requirements:

  • Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Terraform
  • Kubernetes - RKE, EKS
  • RBAC - Keycloak, LDAP configurations
  • Storage - EFS, NFS, Rook-Ceph
