AWS/DevOps Engineer

Georgia IT Inc is seeking a highly skilled AWS/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, VPG, Security Groups, EC2, Autoscaling, Load Balancers, RDS, Aurora, Dynamo, EKS, ECR, SQS, SNS, S3, IAM, CloudFront, and CloudWatch.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts in Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Debug and troubleshoot containers running in a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems and services.
  • Work with the application team to identify defects, root cause, and deploy fixes.
  • Manage application running in AWS.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience with AWS services.
  • Ability to run and modify IaC scripts in Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of debugging containers running in a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Linux system administration skills.
  • Experience with GIT and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline.
  • Desired skills include monitoring applications with Splunk or Dynatrace, Pulsar experience, Postgres experience, Nginx configuration, and Agile development environment.
Education:

Bachelor's degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
