Job Title: Bakery Attendant/Barista

The World Equestrian Center Ocala is seeking a skilled Bakery Attendant/Barista to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the success of our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with purchases and other requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Understand and adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Implement and follow all cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Process and collect payments using cash handling and credit card processing systems.
  • Stay informed about upcoming events, promotions, and shows within the Center and local area to provide relevant information to customers.
  • Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise to maintain a well-organized and visually appealing store.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity.
  • Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, refreshers, and other specialty coffees to meet customer demands.
  • Provide personalized service to each guest, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Restock the Pastry/Dessert/Grab'N'Go case to ensure smooth service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with the Point of Sales system and MICROS to efficiently manage transactions and inventory.
  • Maintain awareness of inventory levels and stock to prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Ensure the store remains clean and well-maintained, adhering to company standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail to provide a positive experience for customers.
  • Previous experience with cash handling procedures and Point of Sales systems to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Availability to work evening and weekend hours, with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Previous experience with coffee making and preparation to meet customer demands.
  • Previous experience with MICROS/Point of Sales System to efficiently manage transactions and inventory.
