Job Summary

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Transportation Advanced to join our team in the Division of Transportation System Development. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the state's transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct activities related to scoping, developing, monitoring, and reporting project schedules, budgets, issues, and resources necessary for the delivery of multiple design project plans, specifications, and estimates (PSE) and construction project administration.
  • Oversee and manage the activities carried out by department and consultant staff and ensure all requirements to utilize federal funds are followed in the design phase.
  • Produce consultant and in-house major complex corridor studies utilizing sound planning and engineering practices.
  • Provide specialized engineering guidance, direction, and coordination to ensure uniformity and accuracy in the construction phase of the Region's transportation improvement program.

Requirements
  • A valid Professional Engineering registration and the ability to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state.

What We Offer
  • An annual salary of $90,064 - $108,950, plus excellent benefits.
  • A twelve-month probationary period.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
