Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all cash handling procedures, including cash receipts and disbursements.
- Perform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Analyze financial results for both internal and external use, including sales analysis and reporting.
- Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Develop forecasts and budgets, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting findings to management.
- Review general ledger and balance sheet, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Resolving various accounting/reconciliation issues, including discrepancies and errors.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Maintain inventory and cost control procedures, including tracking and analyzing inventory levels and costs.
- Perform payroll and Human Resources administration, including benefits administration and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience with revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling responsibilities of a complex operation.
- Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry preferred.
- Experience with sales analysis and reporting, including data analysis and interpretation.
- Adept at planning, organizing, and controlling complex processes, as well as analyzing moderately complex financial information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and relationships, including team management and leadership.
- Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office, with a concentration in Excel, and experience with POS systems a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
