About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Utility Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Insight Global. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and management of electric transmission line and substation projects.

Job Description
  • Supervise and direct construction activity to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Interface with owners, clients, and on-site construction crews to ensure project safety, quality, and schedule milestones are met.
  • Prepare electrical utility construction proposals and estimates, including drawing take-offs.
  • Forecast and report on project profitability while managing project budget.
  • Coordinate all aspects of job setup, incorporating MJE standards regarding safety, scheduling, document control plans, cost codes, job cost spreads, material/tooling plans, billing, and more.
About Our Ideal Candidate
  • 4-7 years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields in the utility construction industry.
  • Experience working with union jurisdiction and labor agreements.
  • Familiarity with PM and/or scheduling software, such as Primavera.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401(k) retirement plan access with employer matching.
