We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Merryhill School. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young learners and creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development.

About the Role

This is a full-time, year-round position that requires a minimum of a high school diploma and meets the minimum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (CDA). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Establish a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a cohesive educational experience
  • Provide regular updates to parents through consistent communication and daily snapshots of their child's day
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a minimum of a high school diploma
  • Meet the minimum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (CDA)
  • Comply with all state education and licensing standards and maintain validation of credentials for the position
