We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to join our team as a Clinical Custodian at Avets, a 24-hour emergency & specialty veterinary hospital in Monroeville. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment throughout the hospital, ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff.
Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, and furniture to the highest standards.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces daily to prevent the spread of infection.
- Clean and polish windows and mirrors to ensure a clear view.
- Empty trash receptacles, recycle bins, and ashtrays and dispose of waste daily to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Disinfect and sterilize restrooms and other areas such as exam rooms and treatment areas as requested to prevent the spread of infection.
- Set up and break down furniture as needed to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Ensure all cleaning materials and tools are stored securely and properly to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete deep cleaning projects as assigned by the Emergency Manager to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain awareness of any potential safety and health hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate these risks.
