Primecare Community Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of procedures performed by dental staff and assist dentists in all phases of dentistry.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists chair side in all phases of dentistry, including taking diagnostic intra-oral x-rays and front desk duties.
- Manage patient behavior during treatment and operate dental radiographic equipment for oral radiology.
- Follow infection control protocols and use protective barriers as specified by professional, state, and federal standards.
- Assist patients with oral hygiene instructions following dental procedures and document treatment and patient information in dental software.
- Perform front desk responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the Practice Manager and/or Dentist.
- Completion of certified Dental Assisting Training Program.
- Current CPR certification from an AHA-approved organization.
- Knowledge of proper use of dental materials and equipment and ability to assist dentists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strongly preferred.
- Coronal Polishing Certification, preferred.
