Job Summary

The IDD Provider Specialist position at Lakes Regional MHMR Center is a dynamic role that requires a compassionate and skilled individual to provide direct care services to persons with developmental disabilities. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating therapeutic programs, providing training and assistance with daily living activities, and fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized activity plans to promote skill development and independence
  • Provide direct care services, including assistance with personal hygiene, food preparation, and mobility
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Work Schedule

Saturday and Sunday, 11:00am to 11:00pm
