Job Summary:

Geisinger Health System is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Movement Disorder Neurologist to join our team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job Duties:

Our team of neurologists and neurosurgeons with specialty training in movement disorders work together to provide comprehensive care for patients with movement disorders, including tremors from Parkinson's disease.

We offer a team approach that includes detailed evaluations, therapies, medications, and surgery to determine the most appropriate care for each patient.

Our specialists regularly collaborate with multidisciplinary specialty teams to ensure quality care and successful outcomes.

Position Details:

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is a 274-bed acute care hospital that is licensed for and houses the only Level II Trauma center in Luzerne County.

The campus includes the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, The Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Janet Weis Children's Hospital Pediatric Unit, a transplant program, and the Brain & Spine Tumor Institute.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

Certification(s) and License(s):

Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
