About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a critical role in the production of our medical devices, ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform visual inspections of titanium spinal implants to detect defects and ensure quality.
  • Set up and operate semi-automated microscope surface inspection and analysis equipment.
  • Enter data into computer systems and review results for out-of-tolerance measurements.
  • Use measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and color charts to inspect products.
  • Apply GDP and line clearance practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interpret and use sampling tables for statistical sampling.
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment, performing a variety of tasks from repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices, typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field, with vocational or technical education or certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as an Assembler or in a related field.
  • Experience with inspection of tools, devices, and equipment.
  • Ability to visually inspect tools and equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
