Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at APN Consulting Inc.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in cardiovascular operating room nursing. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a cardiovascular operating room setting
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care strategies
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular operating room setting
  • Strong background in cardiac care, vascular surgery, and thoracic surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Work Environment

This role will be based in a state-of-the-art cardiovascular operating room with a team of experienced healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be required to work variable shifts, including one week day call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
