Job Summary:

The Pre-Operative Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting. Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients pre-operatively to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the anesthesiologist and/or surgeon
  • Coordinate with the OR nurse to ensure accurate and timely transfer of patient information
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and care coordination
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
