Human Resources Manager

Transdev is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team in Lorton, VA. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in implementing our company's HR strategy and providing guidance and support to our management teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Manage employee investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, medical records, and I-9 documents.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate data entry.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives that impact the organization.
- Represent the company in union contract negotiations and collective bargaining agreements.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist or management position.
- Heavy recruiting experience and knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence people at all levels of the organization.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in ADP and HRIS systems, Microsoft Office software, Excel, and Access.
