Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Foreman

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our team at Pye-Barker Fire & Safety. As a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action systems to identify any potential issues or defects.
  • Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Provide advanced technical assistance to team members and customers as needed.
  • Teach trade skills to advancing apprentices/helpers to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and results of work completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with fire sprinkler systems required.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license required.
  • Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment, including impact wrenches, band saws, measuring devices, fitting take-outs, manual lifting devices, grooving machines, threading machines, and powered industrial lifting devices.
