Job Summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining and recording patient clinical information, verifying physician orders, and reviewing laboratory test results. You will also make psychological and physical assessments of each patient, adjusting imaging procedures and techniques as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Obtains and records patient clinical information and verifies physician orders
Reviews laboratory test results and makes adjustments to imaging procedures as needed
Assists patients with transfers and positions them for imaging procedures
Prepares and administers contrast media as ordered by physicians
Processes images and accurately documents work in HIS/RIS/PACS systems

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiology is required
RTR licensure in Commonwealth Massachusetts is required
CT modality requires a Sub-specialty (CT) certification within 1 year of employment
BLS certification is required
Maintaining all area specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation is required

This job requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, and using hands to finger, handle, or feel. The job also requires pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting weights up to 100 pounds.
