Overview:

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a flexible, per diem role. As a RN GIG, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of shifts, including day and night shifts, with no weekend, holiday, or shift requirement.

Incentives:

  • $40/hr base rate
  • Variable shift incentives
  • W-2 employee
  • Minimum 1 shift in 90 days
  • 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available
  • Work where and when you want

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience: one year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg
  • Required education: graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Preferred education: BSN
  • Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association required
  • Licensure: responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current compact RN license

Locations:

  • Fort Smith Medical Surgical and ICU only
  • Community hospitals: Waldron, Paris, Ozark, Booneville, Berryville

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
