Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Cybersecurity Activities: Develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies to protect our enterprise from cyber threats.
  • Manage Security Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Security Operations Center, including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.

  • Analyze Security Log Data: Analyze and identify trends in security log data from multiple heterogeneous security devices, and provide incident response support when analysis confirms actionable incidents.
  • Provide Threat and Vulnerability Analysis: Provide threat and vulnerability analysis and offer security advisory services to ensure the security of our enterprise.
  • Investigate Security Issues: Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends.
  • Manage Cyber Situational Awareness: Maintain threat monitoring services and gather and report on security metrics that demonstrate the relative cost/benefit of security operations and other cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Reduce Cost and Optimize Security Posture: Reduce cost and optimize enterprise cybersecurity posture through efficiencies, reciprocity, security shared services, and automation.
  • Meet Security Audit Mandates: Meet security audit mandates, standards, and requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in cyber security or a related field is preferred, and a minimum of one year's progressive information security experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a Security Operations Center: Experience working in a Security Operations Center is preferred, but not required.
  • Passion for Cybersecurity: The analyst should possess a passion for cybersecurity, proactively anticipate and address emerging threats, uphold the highest ethical standards, and demonstrate a natural curiosity for exploring the intricacies of security systems and potential threats.
